For all my domain emails I use the free gmail service. I am not total fan of gmail service but like to use it because a)Its free b)It has nice spam filtering c)its better than webmail services provided by the most hosting companies. Only reason I hate gmail service is that I am not able to access my emails in traditional way. The emails are grouped together according to subject. Google doesn’t allow any option to sort emails by the arrival time because google wants to push down advertisements ...

Recently I successfully upgraded to Wordpress Mu version 2.9.1 with Buddypress version 1.2.1. Wordpress MU and Buddypress lacks serious documentation and help is hard to find. In my first attempt I ended with 404 errors on any link I click after the upgrade. In another attempt I my site up and running but the links to Blogs, Members and Forums would get redirected to the home page.
After lots of trial and error, and spending almost a day finally I found a solution.

Most SEO plugins for wordpress disable indexing on wordpress category pages. So SEO of category pages in not important. This also helps to avoid duplication of the content in the post view and category view. However if you use excerpts instead of content for the post shown on the category view duplication of the content is not a problem.
To enable SEO for category pages, enable indexing of the category view. Add keyword rich summary in the description for each category. Plugins like all in one SEO will automatically use this ...
